The Job

The role is a permanent position working full time from Monday to Friday based at our Head Office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Working as part of a small team, you will report to the Depot Manager

The Ideal Administrator

  • Previous experience in working in an administration role (Essential)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel (Essential)
  • Good planning & organisational skills (Essential)
  • Proactive approach (Essential)
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy (Essential)
  • Previous experience of working in an equipment rental / construction related environment (Desirable)

The Role

The successful candidate will join a small multi-functional administration team. Your duties in this role will include:

  • Receiving and process paperwork from field-based Engineers.
  • Accurate filing of all associated paperwork
  • Updating / maintaining a number of spreadsheets that are used to record and monitor service and maintenance data and hire-fleet utilisation.
  • Use paperwork received from operations teams to raise and issue accurate documentation (On/Off Hire notes) to the internal accounts department for the purposes of raising customer invoices.
  • Update and maintain asset register spreadsheets.
  • Providing general Administration support to Senior Managers when required.
  • Assist and support other members of the central administration team.
