14 Scanclimber work platforms for sustainable high-rise construction in Amsterdam
At the 'Zuidas' in Amsterdam a sustainable office complex is constructed. The complex consists out of 2 buildings, with eight and fourteen floors, six luxury, land-based villas and a parking garage for 190 cars. The complex is located close to the Amsterdam Zuid station located near the Beethoven Street. The architects UN Studio and Claus & Kaan designed the entire complex.
Because of the many sustainable innovations that are used inside the complex, the buildings will get the label BREEAM 'Excellent'. The entire property is equipped with intelligent switches and LED light is powered by solar panels.De Groot & Visser, a specialist in windows, facades and shading solutions gave RECO the order for 14 work platforms.
For this project RECO choose for both single and double mast SC4700 mastclimbers from Scanclimber. The SC4700 mastclimber offers a safe working platform of 10.8 meters and 35.5 meters respectively for work up to 150 meters, for example facades.
