RECO Common Tower Hire (5x5m)
The 5x5 metre-variant is the standard configuration of the RECO Common Tower. This configuration supports up to 6 large construction hoists, up to a total of 19.200 kg in payload capacity. It can be erected to heights in excess of 250 meters in height, utilizing precious ground space to the maximum. Instead of 6 hoists taking up to 18 metres worth in width to both ground space and the building façade, the Common Tower can accommodate 6 large passenger goods hoists around its perimeter. This requires no more than a vertical rip to the building façade of approximately 3 metres.
- Floors supports 4.000 kg per square metre;
- Combined hoist payload capacity of 19,200 kg;
- Heights in excess of 250 metres;
- Minimum interface to the building façade;
- Maximum vertical transportation with minimal ground space;
- Efficient installation speeds;
- Continued vertical transportation usage during staged installations.
Optimize Vertical Logistics and Streamline Your Fit-Out Process
A RECO Common Tower significantly enhances construction site safety, expedites on-site transport, and reduces building costs. Thanks to our innovative tie system, ties can be removed and reattached swiftly to allow cladding panels to be installed efficiently. This makes all floors dry and watertight, enabling the fit-out process to start sooner and, in some cases, finish earlier. When combined with larger construction hoists like the Alimak Scando 650 XL FC 50 or Stros Mammoth passenger hoist, the Common Tower can handle the transport of oversized cladding panels or even prefab bathroom pods.
Enhance Usability with Staircases and Loading Docks
Maximize the functionality of the Common Tower by adding modular components. To optimize horizontal transport, RECO Hoist specialists have developed a customizable Loading Dock system. These platforms are built at ground level to allow direct loading from lorries to hoists, providing a seamless, level pathway. This setup minimizes forklift movements and drastically reduces wait times.
For improved safety and accessibility, temporary staircases can be integrated into the Common Tower. These emergency stairs serve as a primary or secondary access route and require fewer tie-ins than traditional scaffold stairs, minimizing facade damage and expediting installation.
Overhead Protection and Material Storage Solutions
The Common Tower’s components can also be configured to create overhead protection or additional storage. Known as ‘crash-decks,’ these platforms safeguard personnel and goods from falling debris while offering extra workspace. For example, constructing an overhead platform above a public road creates valuable storage space without compromising site safety.
